Rockport National Bank Opens Branch in Beverly

Rockport National Bank has officially opened its newest full-service location at 4 Colon Street in Beverly.  The Bank has three other full-service locations, two in Rockport and one in Gloucester.  Rockport National Bank has been serving Cape Ann since 1851.  "This is an exciting time for the Bank.  We are thrilled to extend our branch network to serve additional North Shore communities," said Bank President, Peter Anderson.  "We look forward to getting to know Beverly residents and business owners and becoming a meaningful part of the community."

Rockport National Bancorp, Inc. Accepts $3M from Small Business Lending Fund

Rockport National Bancorp, Inc. has accepted an investment of $3.0 million from the United States Department of the Treasury under the Small Business Lending Fund (SBLF).  The SBLF is a voluntary program intended to encourage small business lending by providing capital to qualified community banks at favorable rates.  The types of small business loans encouraged by the SBLF correlate with the type of lending the Bank already does on an ongoing basis.
